Are You Living Right?

First let me answer that question- NO! Okay, okay that is probably an exaggeration but I need to get my living space together.

Just about a year and a half ago, I moved into a new apartment and  I still have yet to get my act together at this new apartment. Since moving in I bought one decorative pillow and I look at it with much pride. Don’t judge me. Life happens. Let me be even more honest with you, decorating is complicated, and frankly quite overwhelming. The only thing I am certain about is that I need to add some color to my life.

While still trying to decide the new color  to paint my walls; furniture would make me more of an adult;  and the amount of pillows I can fit on my bed at a time, I came across these black-owned stores through my many searches for inspiration.

One good thing to note is that many of these the designers can be found in some of your favorite brick and mortar stores!
